I kneel before the cross

Prayer on my lips

Holy spirit intercedes

Tears fall the the floor

 

I rise before the lord

Light enters my being

Holy spirit indwells

Laughter echos to the heavens

 

I fall before I rise again

Redeeming grace heals my inequity

Holy spirit teaches

Peace remains through catastrophe

 

I walk toward the promise land

Jesus awaits my arrival

Holy spirit leads

Love radiates through the dark valley
